File uploads

Is there a reason that File Uploads have been disabled? Some pages may be more effective with visual aids (DFS, for example). Jargon (n.): Special language of a particular group. 22:03, 14 November 2009 (UTC)

It's disabled by default because having it enabled without taking the right precautions leads to security flaws. I have enabled it. Currently it is possible to upload files with the extensions .png, .gif, .jpg, .jpeg, .xls, .pdf, .ppt, .tiff, .bmp, .ps, .in, .out, .txt, .pas, .c, .cpp, and .tex. You may request additional file types if necessary. Brian 00:28, 15 November 2009 (UTC)
